We are delighted to announce that Jack Shorrock has signed a new contract, which will keep him at Vale Park until at least 2028.
The 18-year-old Academy graduate has put pen to paper following another impressive campaign in 2024/25, helping the Valiants achieve promotion back to League One at the first time of asking.
The defender - who signed his first professional contract in 2024 - won the club's Goal of the Season and Apprentice of the Season awards respectively last season, also being named League Two Apprentice of the Season at the annual EFL Awards.
Speaking about his new deal, Shorrock said: "It's a step forward that I think I've earned, but there's no need to get ahead of myself - I just need to keep doing what I'm doing, and try to help the team as much as I can. I love it here; it's a great club full of great people, so I enjoy myself every single day."
Darren Moore added: "Jack is a fantastic young man and talented player, who we believe has a really bright future ahead of him. This new contract recognises all of his hard work, and we're really pleased to be continuing his development here at Vale Park."
